Easter is the annual Christian festival in the Spring, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
It is the time for telling the wondrous story: Mary Magdalene saw the stone moved away and ran to tell the disciples of Jesus. Peter and John saw the wrappings on the ground and later on, with great fear and trembling, they believed.
Easter is the festival of life celebrating the boldness of God's love which deprived death of its sting.
Easter is more than a once-upon-a-time event. The good news of Jesus still finds expression in the world today.
Easter is the promise of new life and, indeed, of all creation.
