125TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONTINUES WITH EVENSONG AT THE NEW CO-CATHEDRAL OF THE SACRED HEART
Evensong is a tradition of the Church that combines the services of Vespers and Compline, the evening prayers of the Church. The service is typically composed of a service of light, a call to prayer with an evening hymn and thanksgiving proclamation.

STUDY SERIES CONTINUES WITH MARY CATHERINE HILKERT, OP IN MAY
Join us for the final speaker in our 125th Anniversary Year Study Series as Mary Catherine Hilkert, OP, speaks on "The School Friendship: Human Desires and God's Holy 'Trick'" on Saturday, May 3.
Catherine of Siena was convinced that our desire for God is rooted in God's desire for union with us. This presentation will focus on how our longing for God is mediated through our human desires-especially the desire for love and friendship-and how the process of conversion can be viewed as a transformation of desire.
Hilkert is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Akron, Ohio and is Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. She is the author of Naming Grace: Preaching and the Sacramental Imagination and Speaking with Authority: Catherine of Siena and the Voices of Women Today. She has published numerous articles on contemporary theology, spirituality and preaching. She is a past president of the Catholic Theological Society of America and is presently a member of the Dominican Order's International Commission on Preaching.

SUMMER CAMP AT CIRCLE LAKE 2008 REGISTRATION
Registration continues for the annual Dominican Sisters' Summer Camp at Circle Lake. Under the direction of Sister Thomas Ann, OP, the camp offers girls in grades 6-8 a fun, active week away at camp, learning from a variety of activities and creating memories in a positive, Catholic environment.

DVD OF TIMOTHY RADCLIFFE'S "WHAT IS THE POINT OF BEING A CHRISTIAN?" AVAILABLE NOW
More than 600 Dominicans, partners, and friends attended the talk by internationally renowned author Timothy Radcliffe, OP, on Saturday, November 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
The title of Father Radcliffe's book, "What is the Point of Being a Christian?" was the topic of his talk and was recently awarded the 2007 Michael Ramsey Prize for Theological Writing.
